Iris Ben-Efraim


Iris is a scientific advisor and trainee lawyer with a strong background in life sciences.
Iris has extensive experience in scientific research. She worked in research labs in leading research universities and institutes in the US including Purdue University and Scripps Research Institute. She was involved in diversified research projects in cell biology, in vitro drug screening, protein crystallization and viral proteins and published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Iris is a graduate of the Weizmann Institute of Science (Ph.D. Biological Chemistry, 1996), the Hebrew University (M.Sc Plant Physiology, 1990; B.Sc. Agriculture, Crop Science, 1986) and the Ono Academic College (LL.B, 2020). She was also a post-docotral fellow at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, California.
Iris is an avid gardener and enjoys long hikes.
