Ephraim has a very strong science background in the medical sciences and is involved in numerous life science oppositions and infringement actions as well as in patent prosecution.
Ephraim has litigated cases involving drug release profiles and pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, anti-HIV agents and protease inhibitors in particular, CNS drugs and additional medical disciplines.
Ephraim worked extensively with some of the world’s leading HIV and CNS experts and his scientific background was paramount in developing novel arguments to rebut challenges to patentability and to overcome Patent Office objections.
Ephraim is a graduate of the Hebrew University (LL.B, 2009), Hebrew University (M.Sc, Medical Sciences, 2009). At his spare time, Ephraim completes his Ph.D. thesis for Columbia University, plays chess and enjoys spending time with his children.
